RAPAD is a Regional Organisation of Councils (ROC) and as such, we have an operating protocol with the Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ).
The RAPAD Board members of the Central West ROC (in effect the RAPAD members) have resolved to confer all roles and responsibilities of their ROC upon RAPAD. RAPAD also has a Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) with the South West Regional Economic Development Association (SWRED) as well as Desert Channels Queensland (DCQ) who are the peak natural resource management group for the Lake Eyre Basin in Queensland. Several of our RAPAD directors hold executive positions with the West Queensland Local Government Association (WQLGA) and LGAQ.
