 | The Central West Remote Area Planning and Development Board (RAPAD), servicing Outback Queensland, is a registered Regional Certifying Body (RCB). RCB’s are organisations endorsed by state and territory governments that have local knowledge of skill shortages in their area, have the ability and networks to assess whether a business is actively and lawfully operating in their area and have the authority to assess and certify nominated employment positions under the legislative requirements of a number of Australian Government migration schemes.
| Through this role RAPAD can assist both intending migrants looking to find employment and local employers with employment vacancies to fill.
Outback Queensland is proud of its cultural diversity and is proactively fostering links with existing and new migrants to support settlement and to help facilitate a smooth transition for new migrants and their families into life in Outback Queensland. Further information is available on a number of programs and projects operating in the region to assist migrants and their families by contacting RAPAD on 07 4658 3301 or email rapad@rapad.com.au.
