The two reviews that have been undertaken, since the 2003 planning process, have allowed our members to fully input into the planning process, identify, and in turn take ownership of the regional priorities and desired regional outcomes outlined within. These reviews also reflect, what is an important attribute of the organisation, and that is our encouragement of such review and evaluation processes which fosters a proactivity amongst members.
RAPAD is a unified local government organisation which has the intent of assisting with and facilitating the growth and development of our Central West and wider Outback region. By working together member local governments are united in their desire to enhance the quality of life for all residents.
RAPAD's core focus areas are Transport; Service Retention and Expansion - emphasising Health, Education and Housing; Technology, Communication and the Digital Economy; Sustainable Industries; Climate Change, Renewable Energy, Zero Emission Technology &NRM; and Regional planning & Capacity Building captures the essence of the regional priorities for our area...........
